Start using google analytics on your Discord
Step by step guide
Authorize the bot
Click on the card below to authorize Google Analytics bot on your Discord server.

Admin permission is required for now. As you complete the authorization flow, you should see the bot appear on your Discord server among the Members list at the right of the screen. You can search for it or click on the user-group icon.

Go to settings
Type /settings
in the message writing input from any channel. You’ll see 2 settings command. One to set Google Analytics, the other to set your onboarding channel.
Select /settings google analytics
If you can’t find the Google Analytics bot commands, refresh your all page.
Add your Google Analytics
The command will prompt 2 parameters:tag-id
and api-secret
get your measurement-id
If you don’t have Google Analytics already, create a new one, it’s free.
Go to your Google Analytics website to copy your measurement-id.
Paste it in the /settings google analytics
command

page. - Click on your

get your api-secret
On the same Google Analytics website page where you found your measurement-id, look below for the API secrets for measurement protocole
page.
Create and copy a new api-secret
for the Google Analytics bot.
Paste it in the /settings google analytics
command

- Click to open the

page. - Click the top right button to
read and accept the terms
(option). - Click on
Create
. - Type a name for your
api-secret
(exemple: ‘Discord-bot’) - Confirm to close the drawer
- Copy your new
api-secret
send the command
Hit Enter
to send the command and wait for the confirmatio message ✅
Set your onboarding channel
Finally, type /settings
in the message writing input from any channel again.
Select the /settings onboarding channel
command this time.
Select your server’s onboarding channel.
Hit Enter
to send the command and wait for the confirmatio message ✅
